What does e-BRAIN involve?

What would I be asked to do?

Questionnaires & Interviews

We will ask you to complete some interviews and questionnaires about your life, your diet and your interests. This will take about an hour or so.

Biological Samples

We would also like to collect a small sample of your blood, urine and saliva to examine markers of nutrition, how your body responds to stress and your immune system.

If you cannot give blood you can opt out.

MRI scan

We will ask you to have an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan at King’s College London, which gives detailed pictures of the brain that cannot be obtained in any other way.

It is safe and it does not use X-rays or radiation. The scan will last around 45 minutes.
